Workplace Needs Assessment

A Workplace Needs Assessment can take a  holistic view of an individual. Looking at a wide range of factors affecting an individual. This includes:

  • The workstation, including; chair, desk, equipment, furniture and the layout
  • The job the individual undertakes including frequent duties
  • Any specific requirements to the individual

These usually last between one to one and a half hours in duration whilst the assessor ascertains all of the relevant information.

Upon completion of the assessment, a checklist style report, which includes and recommendations for equipment, is sent to the designated contact within five working days.

Cognitive Diagnostic Assessment

A Cognitive Diagnostic Assessment ascertains whether an individual has a neurodiversity, such as Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and / or Dyscalculia.

This can also highlight (but not diagnose) if the individual could have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder – ADHD.

During these assessments, our assessors will conduct a series of cognitive ability tests that look at verbal and non-verbal skills as well as literacy and fine motor control.

A Cognitive Diagnostic Assessment will usually take between 2-4 hours. In addition to conducting the cognitive tests, the assessor will also gather information about the individuals early development, education and work background to build up a picture of how the individual has experienced both difficulties and strengths over time.

Once the assessment has been completed, a report will be produced within 10 working days. The report will confirm whether the individual has a neurodiversity listed, as well as their strengths and weaknesses.
